Fourteen weeks. Seven prompts. One question: what does your practice actually look like?

Both groups receive the same prompts. The project opens May 27. WGR meetings run through September 19. WDR meetings run through September 26. The project closes with a virtual exhibition October 24 through November 21..
This is not a photography class. No experience required. The camera on your phone is where enough lives. What matters is showing up, doing the work, and letting the images tell the truth your words might not yet have.
What you will do
Every two weeks you receive one prompt. You respond with up to three images and a brief written reflection, not a description of what we can already see, but an explanation of why you took it, what it means to you, and how it connects to the prompt. This is how the community begins to know each other.
Every other Saturday your group meets live and virtually with Kim. Seven meetings across fourteen weeks. This is where images get shared, questions get asked, and the work gets real.
About gender
Gender is not policed. You do not need to identify as a woman to enter WGR or as a man to enter WDR. White folx who are gender non-conforming or non-binary choose the track that most accurately reflects where they have the most practice masking. The question is not what your gender is. It is where the myth did the most damage. That is where the work begins.
What this costs and why
This project uses a three-tier pricing model. The tiers are not about what you can afford. They are about what the myth has afforded you.

Register
Registration for the 2026 Photo Project opens a waitlist. Each group requires a minimum of five participants to run. You will not be charged until that threshold is met and you are approved to join. If a group does not reach five participants, no payment is collected.
This is not a first-come, first-served enrollment. It is an intentional threshold. The container requires enough people to hold it properly, and I am not willing to run it at a ratio that does not serve anyone well, including me.
Privileged, Set, and Reduced pricing is available for both WGR and WDR. Select the tier that reflects your financial reality.
