About
Kim Crayton is a writer, theorist, and strategist whose work centers on the myth of white supremacy, what it costs everyone, and what becomes possible when white folx commit to living beyond it.
She is a Black woman who has spent thirty years doing this work, first on herself, then in community, and now in public. The ecosystem you are inside is not theoretical. It is documented lived practice.
Kim works exclusively with white folx, not because the harm of white supremacy is limited to them, but because she can only hold space for those whose lived experiences are not so familiar to her that it causes her harm. This is not a limitation. It is a condition of doing the work well and sustainably.
The Life Beyond the Supremacy Myth ecosystem includes a newsletter, quarterly live events, the Photo Project, Develop Your Why, and the one-person show What Am I Missing? The book, Volume 1 of the LBTSM encyclopedia, publishes November 27, 2026.
